Nordic Walking Holidays in Devon

We would like to invite you to join us on our Nordic Walking holidays in Devon. There are many lovely places to stay but we can highly recommend staying at the Knocklayd guest hotel - www.knocklayd.com. Eliot and I always stay there and Susan and Jonathon are lovely people and will do all that they can to make your stay memorable, and the breakfasts are gorgeous!

We will take people out for 3-5 hours each on both the Saturday and the Sunday. The walks are coastal paths, some are quite steep and challenging and these walks are not for the faint hearted. You will have to have a certain level of fitness and an understanding of the Nordic Walking Techniques in order to participate with us on these walks.

There will still be plenty of time to enjoy Dartmouth as the walks will either be early morning or late afternoon/early evening- this is to avoid the heat of the mid-day sun.

We will begin the Nordic Walking Holidays in Devon in the Spring 2007. We will limit the class to 10 people only. It will be both Eliot and myself teaching the classes so you will get the benefit of two INWA Nordic Walking instructors.

We will meet outside the Knocklayd hotel on the Kingswear side of the River Dart. We can recommend many local eateries including Michelin star John Burton-Race’s restaurant, The New Angel. Please also visit www.discoverdartmouth.com
